Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Aya Studio LLC handles personal data in Aya Studio, in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and other laws that apply.
1. Who we are
Aya Studio LLC, Sharjah Media City (Shams) Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
For content that customers create, the customer decides what is uploaded and why; we process that content on the customer's behalf.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, workspace and role.
- Billing details: billing name, address and tax number, plan and payment history. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Your content: prompts, scripts, lyrics, uploaded images and audio, and the results you create.
- Usage data: actions taken, credits used, errors, and basic technical data (browser, device, IP address) used for security.
- Essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service: create content, store your projects and run your workspace.
- To bill you and keep accounts and tax records.
- To keep the service safe: check requests against the content policy, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To support you and improve the service: our team may look at prompts, results and how the studio is used, for example to answer a question or fix a failed creation.
- To contact you about your account, service changes and support.
We use your data on the basis of our contract with you, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running a safe service. We do not sell personal data.
4. AI processing
To create content, prompts and uploaded files are sent to the AI model providers we work with. They are used to produce your result, not to advertise to you.
We do not use your content to train AI models. Providers process content under their own terms and policies.
5. AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude and others)
You can connect your Aya Studio account to an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, through our connector at https://ayastudio.si/mcp. Nothing is shared until you sign in to Aya Studio and choose Allow.
- What the assistant can do: read your account name and email, workspaces and credit balance; list your saved characters and recent creations; and create pictures, clips, talking characters, songs and voice-overs when you ask it to, using your credits.
- What it can't do: see your password or payment details, change your plan, billing or team, or delete anything.
- What we receive: the requests the assistant sends on your behalf (for example a prompt or a script), which we process exactly as if you had made them in the studio, including the content filter. We keep them with your other content.
- What the assistant receives: the results of those requests, such as links to your creations, which stay valid for 7 days. How the assistant's provider stores your conversation is covered by that provider's own privacy policy.
You can disconnect an assistant at any time in Team & billing → AI apps, which stops its access straight away.
6. Who we share it with
- Our cloud hosting provider (servers, database and file storage)
- AI model providers (to create your content)
- Stripe (payments and invoices)
- Email providers (account and service emails)
- Authorities, where the law requires it
These providers may process data outside the UAE. We use providers that apply appropriate protection to personal data.
7. How long we keep it
Account and content data are kept while your workspace is active, and deleted within 30 days after it is closed (backups follow their normal cycle). Billing records are kept as long as UAE law requires.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Each workspace's files are private and separated from other workspaces. Access by our team is limited to what is needed to run and support the service.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. Email [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.
10. Children
Aya Studio is a business tool for adults and is not meant for children to use.
Customers that create content featuring real children must have permission from the child's parent or guardian before uploading a child's photo, voice or other personal data.
11. Changes
We will post updates here and tell workspace owners about material changes. Last updated 20 October 2026.
